Do you want to play a central role when we further develop and optimise our analytical deliveries to our internal and external stakeholders? Join us and become Operational Analyst in our Data Management & Reporting department. You will be a part of a cross-portfolio function, which serves a link between our operational assets and commercial organisation. Our primary tasks are to ensure high operational data quality, analyse data and deliver reports to sites and management in DONG Energy Wind Power. We ensure that the company’s operational data insights are fed into the commercial decisions to ensure that our suppliers comply with our agreements. Data Management & Reporting is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for analysing and reporting on operational performance data and for developing and implementing new reports to stakeholders in the Wind Power organisation. You will have a wide range of different analytical tasks where your ability to shift between tasks and stakeholders is essential. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •handle ad hoc requests from sites and from top management in Wind Power •be responsible for dashboards implemented at Wind Power locations •maintain and develop analyses and reports to sites and management •develop reports in our BI tool Tableau. Your profile You hold a master’s degree in business, economics or similar. You have some working experience with data analysis and preferably experience with production calculation methods. In addition, you have a profound interest in understanding both the specifics within asset operations and commercial decisions needed in order to ensure continuous optimisation of value creation. Moreover, you have extensive knowledge of Excel, SQL and Power Point, supplemented with excellent communication skills. It will be an advantage if you have experience with Tableau as we will implement it starting in summer 2015. It is essential that you can convey your knowledge to stakeholders in a professional way. As we operate in an international environment, it is crucial that you speak and write English fluently. Other languages, such as Danish and German, are an advantage. Furthermore, you are able to create results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders. You have a result-oriented approach to you work, and you are prepared to work intensely during busy periods.
