About the position
For our S&PR EN SUS MMD department we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer. MMD is based in India (50 prs), Germany (7 pers) and Denmark (7 pers) with the responsibility areas 1) Mechanical Engineers responsible for Tower internals, Mechanical Designs. 2) Master data from Team Centre to SAP. 3) CAD design and 4) Design support.
What are my responsibilities?
- You will be responsible for the internals design
- Reviews of CAD work
- Following guidelines, standards and handbooks
- Test and planning of tests (if required)
- Supporting product development projects with solutions in the technology area
- Day-to-day support to execution projects
- Root cause analysis and design solutions for design related non conformities. As design responsible, you will handle nonconformities and secure corrective actions
- Creating technical specifications
- Reviewing design solutions within the technology area, and other areas where your knowledge could be utilized
- Technical discussions and feedback with customers and suppliers
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- You have an education as a Mechanical Engineer (B.Sc. or M.Sc) combined with several years of experience related to the above mentioned areas.
- Knowledge and experience from the wind turbine industry is prefered but not a requirement.
- As a person, you are outgoing and process-oriented, and you are capable of working independently as well as in a teams.
- You are structured and innovative, and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable.
- You have the ability to interact at all levels in a dynamic environment, and you possess strong communication and English skills both orally and in writing.
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
