Job ID: 160228 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: full time For our EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) head office in Denmark, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for the Design team within our Equipment Management department based in Brande. Our key role is to secure that installation tools as well as transport and lifting equipment are available. All equipment is developed in close cooperation with the Development team, and our business is based on internal rental, meaning that we provide rental of equipment to all Siemens project sites, both onshore and offshore. What are my responsibilities? · Developing service equipment for the maintenance of wind turbines as well as 3D and 2D designs hereof. · Carrying out Design Risk Analyses (DRAs) of solutions/equipment. · Keeping track of any progress and communicating solutions/status to stakeholders. · Carrying out project management, from idea to implementation. · Coordinating and controlling the implementation of new equipment. · Monitoring projects, ensuring documentation and reporting milestones. · Writing requirement and purchase specifications for the transportation and lifting of equipment. · Creating engineering change notes. · Making SOWs and following up with external consultants. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree, combined with at least 3 years of experience from mechanical or structural engineering. · Preferably, you have experience with international projects. · You are independent, result-oriented and have strong analytical skills, and you are a dedicated team player capable of motivating the members of your project teams. · You thrive in a multicultural environment and possess excellent communication and English skills, both orally and in writing. · You are familiar with 3D, CAD and project management. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
