Job Description

Do you have a passion for turning raw market data into valuable information to support critical decision-making processes? Do you feel challenged by abstracting insights and trends out of complex market intelligence data bases? Are you good at simplifying and visualizing these insights into key messages that help guide management teams at all levels in finding strategy directions?
Reporting to the Director Strategic Marketing in Danfoss Power Solutions, we are looking for a Market Analyst (m/f) to join us at our Neumünster, Germany or Nordborg, Denmark location.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, analyze and evaluate competitive and market information
- Support the Strategic Marketing Team in all business development activities
- Provide analytical support for various business teams
- Provide input to executive management presentations up to board level and other regular report
- Administer the market intelligence database system, including continuous improvement and user support
- Develop and generate standard database reports based on user requirements
- Monitor and manage the quality and content of the database systems in cooperation with the users
- Manage relations to external market data providers
- Participate in and support special tasks and research projects for our market hot spots
Your profile
You’ll best fit to us, if you are strongly data-driven, have demonstrated profound analytical thinking and outstanding competencies in the use of MS Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. You are also familiar with databases and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
Your interpersonal and communication skills enable you to cooperate with stakeholders across the all levels and work in virtual teams, in a culturally diverse, global matrix organization. With your Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Economics and some years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the mobile off-highway industry, you are well suited for this role.
