Ensure right quality, right cost and right time

As Manufacturing & Supply Manager your objective is to ensure high quality products at reasonable cost delivered at the right time. As our HQ based “Plant Manager” you are the one that balances priorities and agendas and set the direction to make the work of multiple stakeholders come together. Your primary tasks will be to:

• Ensure cost effective and timely supplies from one or more external manufacturing partners
• Chair the external supply leadership team and execute the Contract Manufacturing (CMO) strategy
• Monitor CMO performance and manage manufacturing changes – via the leadership team
• Handle disputes – you are the operation’s ultimate problem solver
• Initiate and approve procurement activities – make/buy decisions, contract revisions as well as approval of category strategy and CMO selection

You will work together with numerous colleagues and partners covering technical operations, quality, planning, CMC, RA, procurement and representatives from the CMO. As such, you will set up and head weekly meetings with relevant stakeholders. You can look forward to travelling 20-30 days per year to meet colleagues and partners (primarily in Europe).

Manufacturing and supply chain experience from GxP environment

You have a Master’s degree that provides you with a strong analytical foundation and at least 5 years’ experience from working across manufacturing and supply chain. This has provided you with GxP knowledge and the additional ability to create results in a highly regulated industry.

To succeed, you must like to set direction and take on a major responsibility. You will need very good communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to tailor your messages with due respect to cultural and professional differences. Your combination of analytical skills and out-of-the-box thinking enables you to identify the root cause in problems and come up with solutions.

You will join approx. 15 competent and engaged colleagues at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. We cover project and manufacturing management, planning and administration with the overall objective to make LEO Pharma’s manufacturing as intelligent and smooth as possible.
