Key responsibilities
The main responsibility of the Lead IT Support Technician is to the lead the team on two main priorities – 1. providing onsite support for end user services and equipments (service management, asset management, project management, etc.); 2. Transforming the team into business partner where we are recognized as value contributor by understanding and idetnfying needs of improvement (or a fix) and implementing the solution end2end (within the team or in the wider technology function).
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to
• Day to day management, resourcing and prioritisation of the workload of the onsite team, as well Perform periodic reviews and appraisals
• Involve relevant stakeholders and users for improvements and engagement
• Lead and implement global & regional & local projects to improve end user services within budget and requested timelines.
• Provide support for VIPs
• 1st & 2nd Level support via tickets raised and assigned in Service Now when relevant (& queue management of the team)
• Problem and Incident Management where relevant, collaborating with relevant parties and vendors
• Handling and preparing HW when relevant
• Participation in the Maersk Group IT Services Duty Guard scheme (an ‘on call’ scheme to provide support assistance either remotely, or physically on site, 24x7) where it is deemed appropriate to do so
We are looking for

• Professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset & Ability to work with people at all levels in the organisation.
• Hands-on experience of IT support services. Strong knowledge of setting up PCs, and common PC accessories i.e. printers, mice, external drives
• At least 2 years people management experience.
• Experience with one or multiple ITIL Service management tools (ServiceNow is a plus)
• Experience with O365 services and other IT infrastructure components (SCCM & SCOM is a plus)
• Knowledge on use of AV equipment is a plus
• Knowledge on OSX and Linus is a plus
• Knowledge about current business processes in the Maersk Group is a plus
