Hesehus develops ambitious ecommerce solutions on the .NET platform and we are looking for a skilled Lead Frontend Developer, who has a solid understanding of the interaction between programming and design and who is motivated by optimizing the user experience on some of Denmark’s largest webshops.

Your primary tasks: 

• Knowledge sharing regarding methods, frameworks, and approach to the development path together with the architecture team. 
• Development and implementation of frontend functionality on our solutions.
• Ensure code in line with code convention for the solution, code reviews as well as consideration of performance
• Optimization and maintenance of standard elements
• Estimation of tasks
• Ensure performance and full exploitation of the browser’s potential and ensuring that indexing is mastered
• Testing solutions
• Contribute positively with knowledge sharing to ongoing projects for customers as well as colleagues

Who are you?  

You have a passion for frontend development and understand the basic principles of UX. Further we expect you to have experience as a frontend developer. We place great emphasis on a high positive energy and that you take professional pride in what you do and always seeks to improve the quality of your work. We expect to be challenged by your passion and curiosity for new technologies. 

It is a prerequisite that you have an understanding of HTML (5), CSS (3), translation of designs to HTML/CSS, Jacascript, jQuery, AJAX, browser optimization and responsive design. Further, you are ahead in points if you have experience with CSS Preprocessors (SCSS or Less), JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Node.js, Jquery UI, as well as Git, Visual Studio, Sublime Text or similar.  

You are familiar with dynamic sites such as .NET MVC and have an understanding of server side functionality and you also know how to connect frontend and backend. You know what a modern browser contains and keep yourself updated with the technological development and like to try out new technologies. As a developer, you are profound, systematic and conscientious. You want to contribute to our informal and fun working environment and take pride in playing others strong.
