For our Global Services IT department, we are looking for an IT Demand Manager. The task of the position will be managing business demand for all IT products and services within the IT portfolio. Furthermore insuring that services, provided by the responsible IT delivery department, are aligned with business demands while fostering synergies and re-use of existing/planned services. Siemens Global Services IT is responsible for operating and improving the IT landscape for Siemens Wind Power. What are my responsibilities? Identify business goals, objectives and needs of the business environment with main focus on the business processes in Product Lifecycle Management Collect and analyze business requirements and translate them into IT demand requirements Provide consulting on how to implement IT solutions to reflect business processes with an integrated and seamless IT landscape Foster optimization of business processes and suggest areas for improvement Monitor IT projects from a Demand Management perspective and ensure that quality standards and processes are met What do I need to qualify for this job? You have an academic background within Information Technology, Engineering or similar You show multiple years of experience in IT Requirement Engineering and/or IT Project Management You have good knowledge of business processes related to Product Lifecycle Management, and/ or Engineering You are familiar with Teamcenter/NX and/ or other applications which support the business processes in Product Lifecycle Management, and/ or Engineering Preferable you already have industry knowledge and/ or Siemens know how You are customer-focused and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills across levels in an organization. As a person you are proactive and self-determined, you take responsibility for your work and you possess strong analytical, coordination and collaboration skills You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
