Our headquarters is located in Denmark but the majority of our highly specialized catalysts and products are sold to industrial plants throughout the world. We now offer a position as a sales engineer in our Refinery Business Unit where we sell catalysts and licensed technologies used for production of environmentally friendly fuels. Our clients are oil refineries and the sales process is highly technical. We are therefore looking for candidates who are interested in sales on a highly technical level and who will be able to advise our customers on the operation of their plant and who can explain the technical merits of our products. In order to obtain both the commercial and technical knowledge necessary to become a successful sales manager, we offer a training program with a duration of 3-6 months to provide the required education and on-the-job training. This position will offer you a unique opportunity to be part of a strong international team and build a network with both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities •Build long-term relations with your customers •Identify customer needs and market trends •Present and promote our catalysts and technologies •Plan and carry out sales activities and visit customers regularly to maintain present customer relationship and develop new potential customers •Prepare commercial proposals •Ensure your customers receive excellent technical support •Negotiate contract terms and order handling. You •Are interested in and have flair for sales •Are dynamic, flexible, and pro-active •Are outgoing, enterprising, and want to make a difference •Have excellent communication and teamwork skills •Are organised, independent, and responsible •Are prepared to travel 40–60 days a year (primarily short trips). Qualifications We are looking for applicants with a degree in chemical engineering or chemistry and 3-5 years’ experience in the refinery field or in technical sales.
