Would you like to work in a global production company and lead large, technical projects that have great impact on our products? You will be part of a team of 8-10 project managers within the Production Concept, Project Management & Measuring tools department that is part of our Production Engineering Organisation. In the department, we hold the overall responsibility for the technical delivery of production technology when a new product is being implemented or when a major capacity extention is needed. As such, we have the overall responsibility for projects with several sub projects across the Production Engineering Organisation. “We are relentlessly ambitious and we want to be best-in-class when it comes to production technology. To achieve this, we have a strong emphasis on teamwork and we work together across the entire organisation,” Project Execution Manager, Bjarke Buhl, explains. What is the job about? As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall technical delivery of production technology both when a new product is being implemented as well as when a major capacity extention is needed. As such, your primary role is to constantly oversee the project, coordinating tasks and deciding which issues that need attention. Moreover, you continuously ensure that the project is on track in regards to quality, time and budget. You will be collaborating with the entire development organisation responsible for developing new products and for implementation in the production. This also covers deliveries of projects to countries both in and outside Europe. “This is a position with many challenges that will test your ability to lead large projects. And, you need to deliver according to deadlines and navigate within unexpected project changes while still driving the projects forward,” Bjarke says. What do you need to apply? You are a Project Manager with at least 5 years’ proven project management experience – preferable from new product introduction and production concept development. It is an advantage if you have a background as an engineer or another technical education but in this position, project management experience is more important than a technical background. Experience with stainless steel/sheet metal is an advantage and experience with visual management and LEAN will be concidered a plus. Your English skills are at a high level verbally and in writing. ”You need to be structured and able to drive project from beginning to end and to make decisions on your own. It is also important that you thrive in a team with other experienced project managers and external consultants and that you have great communication skills,” Bjarke says.
