Unique opportunity for an experienced Murex technical expert. The position we offer Based in Helsinki or Copenhagen, you will be part of the FX Systems team proving the current simplification programme with a high number of test environments. This job includes the planning, coordination and delivery of the test environments in cooperation with the Infrastructure and Operations organization. Change management and technical support of the environments and order and usage registration belong to your daily responsibilities. Our simplifications programme will renew legacy IT components with a modern, high-performance and resilient suite of services in cooperating with external vendors. FX Systems in Capital Markets IT is the provider to respond quickly to future customer needs and secure compliance with coming regulatory changes. Teaming up with stakeholders in Capital Markets and other IT teams, you will support agile execution of projects. Last, but not least, you will secure stable daily operations of the existing system version and play active role as a change agent to bring in tools the modern technology has available to support the successful execution. The qualifications you need You are an experienced Murex environment manager, knowledgeable and confident with the latest technology, infrastructure architecture, design and good practices. Perhaps you have background as Murex environment manager and have worked for a migration project to MX3 and currently are supporting Murex product development projects. We hope your experience being from Linux, Oracle and DataSynapse world. WallStreet system environment experience would be considered as extra advantage. You are passionate about meeting the targets set by the project manager or team lead and proud of your track record of using technology innovation to solve problems and create new opportunities. Moreover, we expect you to: • understand and adhere to the principles of good infrastructure architecture and can explain them to others • be expert in using Linux and Oracle to get the most out of the applications. DataSynapse grid expertise would be an advantage. • have experience in working with configuration management tools in a structured way • welcome change and see it as a source of opportunity • use substantial time to keep yourself updated on technology advances • practice Scrum/Kanban or similar and know how to optimise for sustainable speed of delivery • communicate effectively at all levels in an organisation • like to adopt and reuse the work of others • enjoy problem solving and thrive when challenged • like getting things done • be curious You will be based in Helsinki or in Copenhagen in a very international working environment and fluent English is essential.
