About the department We are in the last phase of completing a fully operational site for formulation and filling of modern insulin for the Russian market. The site is situated some 170 km southwest of Moscow. The position is in the Environmental Monitoring (EM) department which consist of more than 15 employees (Professionals and Operators) locally in Russia. EM has a critical role in establishing the correct conditions for our aseptic production in terms of environmental procedures, aseptic behaviour and training. The job Together with the rest of the EM team, you are responsible for running and developing the environmental set-up and clean utility and ensuring alignment with Novo Nordisk’s and international standards and regulations. In particular, you will take the lead on various tasks related to the Environmental processes and you will support qualification, upgrade of areas and the establishment of the grade A/B aseptic core of the manufacturing facility. In all your work, you are highly focused on securing that the aseptic awareness within EM and in production is strengthened and aligned with both corporate and Russian GMP standards. In particular, you play a key role in anchoring knowledge within Environmental Monitoring to the existing EM team on site, based on best practices within Novo Nordisk. You ensure that the right competencies are developed and arrange for relevant training and professional development of the team. You can look forward to leaving your mark on the EM setting locally. The position is an expatriation for approximately 2 years and the assignment is planned to start at the end of 2015. Qualifications You are a Pharmacist, Engineer or have another relevant university degree, supplemented with experience of project management. Additionally, you can document at least 5 years experience with one or more of the following areas: Environmental Monitoring, clean utility or aseptic production combined with in depth experience from GMP-regulated environment. Experience of working and living abroad will be an advantage. You have a global mindset and are keen on moving to Russia to take on this new position. It is crucial for the position that you are skilled at networking, collaborating and working with people from different cultural backgrounds and across geography. It is expected that you work both independently and in teams to ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. Additionally, you are a sociable and positive person.
