Lead engineering activities With direct reference to the Director of Operations, and as an Engineering Manager at Danfoss Redan, you will ensure engineering of new product variants and customisations in time without losing focus on cost-effective solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring a proper project roadmap and its implementation with internal and outsourced resources and for ensuring support to customer requirements. As a manager, you understand the balance between exercising leadership, and at the same time running and driving some of the department’s projects yourself. In detail, your tasks will e.g. be:•Developing project plans for new product modification projects with all required stakeholders from production, sales, quality and procurement •Lead your own engineering projects and controlling the whole project portfolio •Ensuring the usage of standard tools, processes and KPI’s •Support ad hoc task to balance the speed in terms of response time from the department Skilled manager with focus on effective procedures and methods' As a minimum, you hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, backed up by solid experience from an R&D or similar development function running projects. You are familiar with SAP and maybe Creo. You are a skilled project manager who will guarantee that the internal engineering tools, methods and systems are used in an efficient way. You have preferably an understanding of heating applications from a consultant agency or company within district heating. With your holistic mind-set, you keep track of projects and have the drive for further improvement and future optimisation opportunities. You are to establish many contacts across the organisation, and therefore, you need to be open with a positive attitude and an interdisciplinary approach.
