Are you ready to Teach the World?
Denmark’s first 100% English-speaking Efterskole/Academy and Boarding School has one full-time teaching positions commencing on 1st August, 2016 Can you teach Cambridge IGCSE Spanish and maybe Business Studies, Math or Combined Science? Do you speak English at a high-level? Are you innovative and interested in taking part in the launching of a brand new international department? Then The International is the school for you!
The International - Academy and Boarding School of Denmark is a department of Vedersø Idrætsefterskole located in West Jutland focusing on intercultural competence, academic excellence and personal development, where English is the language of communication. The school attracts Danish students, from all over the country, as well as international students.
As a teacher at The International you will play a part in ensuring a positive Efter- skole experience and be willing to engage in all aspects of Efterskole life including, but not limited to, evening and weekend duties and international trips. We are also happy to hear what subjects and extra-curricular activities you are passionate about and how you could make our school even better.
The school is part of a brand new purpose-built campus with state-of-the-art facilities located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Vedersø. The school is in close proximity to the town of Ringkøbing with good transport links approx. 1 hour from Billund International Airport.
