Do you have the energy and talent for driving tests and validation of electro-hydraulic actuators and sensors toward future standards for auto-guided vehicles and precision farming equipment? Then you might be our new Development Engineer for test and validation at Danfoss Power Solutions. You will join the Electronic Hardware and Software Engineering team, which is a growing and dedicated team specialising in safety-critical mechatronic actuators and sensors used for Steer-By-Wire systems in off-road vehicles. Quality in integration, test and validation You will be responsible for integration, test and validation of electro-hydraulic products including our Steer-By-Wire platform. You will improve the lead-time and quality of integration and test for both new projects and product updates, and you will ensure the right level of test coverage for functional safety products. Furthermore, you will optimise integration and test processes by outsourcing activities and/or automation of manual tests. Finally, you will deliver basis input and test of product simulation models. Key tasks could be: •Planning and running product integration test and validation activities in new development projects •Planning and running release tests of product updates •Participation in business front-end activities (e.g. competitor analysis) •Participation in quality claim analysis and test •Participation in developing models for use in simulations of our products A challenging job awaits you in an international environment where you will develop yourself professionally as well as personally. Electronic/software engineer with experience in product integration, test and validation You hold a BSc in electronic or software engineering or equivalent, and you have experience within product integration, test and validation or subcontract management experience. If you are newly graduated, we also encourage you to apply as long as you are eager to learn. You are an experienced LabVIEW® user and have knowledge of structured testing according to the V-model, and you can contribute with your practical experience from safety critical systems and/or agricultural vehicles. In addition, you are quality-oriented and have the ability to translate customer applications into laboratory test setups. You thrive on solving technical problems, both independently and together in a team. Furthermore, you are open-minded and good at interacting with others, and you enjoy cooperating across borders and cultures. Finally, you have excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.
