Daily operations and projects on a global scale In this role, you secure the virtualisation platform within the global hosting setup in the LEGO Group. You become part of a department that is responsible for operating and developing the LEGO® IT Hosting platform, focusing on 24/7/365 operations, security, stability and great end user experiences for a global workforce. You will participate in daily operations and projects, including sparring with the business to translate their needs and requirements into solutions. More specifically, you: Secure stable and up-to-date solutions within our virtualised environment Act as a technical advisor in the department as well as towards internal LEGO Customers Define the architecture of the global platform for key technical areas, the roadmap and next step for the virtualisation platform and where we see the department in the future Secure the day-to-day tasks as well as project deliveries Act as a team player and sparring partner within the whole Corporate IT - Technology & Security area Play is our favourite way of learning The LEGO Group is an international, family-owned business, and collaboration shapes everything we do. IT generalist with VMware and Microsoft specialist skills Here, your rock solid technical background combined with an understanding that two heads are better than one is what will contribute to your success. Your broad IT understanding, collaborative spirit and business understanding allow you to understand business needs and translate them into solutions. Driven by a passion for your field, your qualifications are: Deep knowledge of running VMware in a global enterprise environment, including automation, orchestration and capacity management Deep knowledge in relation to Microsoft technologies, such as server deployment, AD, DNS, DHCP and DFS-R Network experience for securing E-2-E solutions Cloud experience in relation to working with different aspects of private, public and hybrid cloud scenarios Bringing it to life "A system is only as good as the people working on it.
