In Configuration Management, we are looking for a Specialist to manage the configurations for a Mark Release, from the start of a Platform development project, throughout the release of new products and variants to the market.  

 

You will be working across the value chain and be a key person for the Platform Management so it is essential that you have experience with international product introduction, and strong project management skills.

As part of the Power Solution area, the Configuration Management department is responsible for the control of configurations within Vestas Standard Product Program. 

 

Ensuring timely release of new product releases in Vestas Sales Configurator towards our Sales Organisation globally. 

 

Configuration management are furthermore responsible for the portfolio overview of releases and changes throughout a new development project. 

 

Responsibilities

 

• Manage product and sales configuration
• Provide and maintain overview of product configuration – Product Family Master Plan (PFMP) 
• Responsible for the Configuration Rules within the PFMP. 
• Responsible for the Engineering Change Management portfolio within Product Sales Configuration & timely implementation of new releases. 
• Initiate and prioritize improvement initiatives for higher progress and performance on platform projects on product configuration and ensure alignment between platform
• Deliver a Configuration Management plan (CMP) covering project targets within CM improvement and be responsible for reporting on progress 

 

Qualifications

 

• 3-5 years' proven relevant experience from a similar role
• You hold a relevant BSc or MSc degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent, combined with experience from product project-, stakeholder- and change management.
• You have experience with international product introduction, and a holistic understanding of project management, preferably from the wind turbine industry or similar.
• Your current/recent position could be within product or project management 
• Speak and write English fluently
