For our Wind Power Onshore UNA North division in Ikast, Denmark we are looking for a Business Development Specialist. While embedded in the regional sales organization, this position is functionally part of the Strategy group as well as part of the Onshore UNA Segment Strategy team with members from the sub-segments United Kingdom & Ireland, Northern Europe and Asia Pacific. What are my responsibilities? · Carrying out research and strategic analyses of Northern European markets, customers, competitors and product demands as well as of the business environment in general. · Leveraging findings to define and drive improvement projects. · Supporting the definition and implementation of the sales strategy in Northern Europe. · Supporting various sales teams with pricing strategy. · Carrying out win/loss analyses, including customer interviews and debriefing of sales teams. · Supporting the strategic planning process. · Handling ad-hoc requests on market intelligence. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a MBA or a university degree in Engineering and several years of relevant experience, preferably including documented experience with project management. · You have expertise within the areas strategic analyses and development of business opportunities as well as excellent knowledge within the areas customer segmentation and pricing, the wind power market and industry and strategic account management. · You are result and customer-oriented, have good presentation skills and are good at strategic thinking and analyzing with the ability to perform structured problem solving. · You have advanced knowledge of the internet and the MS Office suite. · You have intercultural experience. · You have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing, and preferably also language skills in one or more Nordic languages. A travel activity of 15-20 days per year must be expected. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
