The department

You become part of a team working on developing BESTSELLER's omni channel activities. Our current focus is on implementing, driving and improving the ship-from-store concept across brands and markets, which will enable our end-customers to buy products online from the local and nearby store. We collaborate closely with stakeholders across BESTSELLER's entire organisation, including teams at the brands and development teams from e-commerce and IT.

The position

As Business Controller, your primary purpose is to support ship-from-store concept and ensure that we are able to expand to more brands and markets while keeping a continuous focus on improving the solution and experience for the end-customer. More specifically, your tasks include:

• Monitoring brand-, country- and store level performance and initiate improvements, when needed
• Developing data-driven analyses to form the basis for optimizing the processes in the stores, including actively participating in defining requirements for our ship-from-store systems
• Ensuring and improving the concept's profitability through business logics and rules - e.g. by setting minimum price points, smart store allocation, deactivation of unprofitable products
• Optimizing and automating underlying data processes and ensuring the data foundation for accounting flow and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Relevant Master's degree, e.g. within finance or international business
• Interest in and flair for tools such as SQL, PowerPivot and PowerBI
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and experienced user of Excel
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Location

Your primary location will be in our office in Aarhus, Denmark. To ensure close collaboration with the brands and markets, you will spend some days at our office in Brande and have 10-15 annual travel days to our international offices, primarily in Europe.
