Plant Applications Plant Solutions is responsible for optimizing wind power plants. This ranges from selecting the right locations, ensuring correct integration to the power grid, controlling the power plants according to the environment and customer demands and optimizing service by diagnostic analysis. A key part of this is the Vestas Online SCADA products for controlling turbines, monitoring performance and collecting all relevant information from the turbines. The SCADA products are developed by Plant Applications which is the software development part of Plant Solutions. It is a department of 25 people located in Aarhus having development within SQL, SSIS, .Net, C++, server/client applications, Web tools, etc. We are working closely together in the team as the various applications are interlinked. Responsibilities: You will become the link between the business and the development teams. A key responsibility is communication with our main stakeholders including internal and external customers to understand the business needs and our technical specialists to understand the technical roadmap and technical design. This information must be turned into well documented requirements and development tasks to be used by internal or external development teams. Based on you knowledge you will contribute to the user manual, perform system testing and supporting the developers during the development phase. Qualifications: You have a Master degree or bachelor and 3-5 years of experience within software development You have proven ability to comprehend both technical and business information and turn it into well documented and easy understandable system requirements and system designs. Competencies: Personal skills: Proactive and self-dependent. You will help setting the right direction and drive the process to get there. Quality oriented. Quality is key since changes after roll out are very costly. Desire to work test-driven and agile You have the ability to perform in an environment with changing priorities and several tasks at the same time Intercultural team player. You will be working with colleagues from all over the world. Fluent in English – both in writing and spoken Excellent communication skills Experience with software development.
