About the department R&D Finance is part of Corporate Finance and is responsible for the financial management of the R&D organisation and projects. In R&D Finance you will be part of a young and dynamic finance team consisting of 16 dedicated employees. Our overall aim is to create impact to our customers and stakeholders through Finance Partnering by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate. The job You will take on the role as finance partner for a business unit in the R&D organisation and support the unit on financial matters. Your key responsibility is to secure optimal allocation of financial resources and manage the financial development within your business unit by facilitating the budget process, provide monthly reports and prepare decision support material to senior management. This requires frequent interactions with and active management of stakeholders. Furthermore, in order to optimise the financial development within your area of responsibility, you will be involved in various projects and ad hoc analyses. Qualifications The person we are looking for has completed a relevant master's degree (i.e. in finance or economics) with excellent results. You have strong analytical skills, are proficient with MS Office products, combined with accuracy and detail-consciousness. Furthermore, it is important that you have good collaboration and communication skills, including being fluent in written and spoken English as well as being able to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
