That’s why we are looking for a senior and a junior Java developer to build smart solutions upon our platform based on technologies such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka and Kubernetes.

With our EcoStruxure IT solutions, we help customers all over the world ensure energy and cost efficiency. At our global service bureaus, we deliver 24/7 monitoring of and guidance in the performance of our customers’ backup power systems, cooling systems, conductors, etc. To strengthen our services, we need you to help create a new web application to function as a professional, automated tool for our service bureaus. 

In your new team, you will join a junior and a senior front-end developer and a technical lead. At our office in Kolding, Denmark, you will all be welcomed by 45 brilliant software developers who work by agile principles to develop and maintain microservices based on the EcoStruxure IT platform. 

Develop and integrate solid microservices in Java

EcoStruxure IT platform is a scalable, automated architecture, and the solutions you develop need to be integrated across our platform infrastructure. Thus, before developing the new application, you will be thoroughly introduced to our platform and the technologies we use.  Together with your new back-end colleague and the technical lead, you will be responsible for developing, testing and integrating the new features. Collaborating closely with your team and other platform stakeholders, you will: 

  • Develop and test our data centre applications in Java
  • Develop and use REST APIs 
  • Collaborate with the teams responsible for native apps and the end-user web portal to ensure integration across tools, methods and technologies
  • Monitor and support the operations of the features by solving ad hoc issues for our service bureaus

As our solution is global, you might get to travel 10-20 days a year to design and test solutions with colleagues from across the world.

Senior or junior Java developers with a flair for collaboration

  • You have experience with Java and with developing REST APIs
  • You hold a degree focusing on software development, e.g. computer science or software engineering
  • You communicate effortlessly in English and are ready to collaborate with other cross-functional teams to ensure successful integrations
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with microservices and continuous delivery and know how to build online applications that are easy to test and maintain
