We are looking for a creative technology driven automation technologist to join Recombinant Technologies (RT). In RT you will work with practical installation, maintenance, programming, design and optimization of automated systems.
About the department
You will be associated with the area Recombinant Diversity Technologies which is part of the RT area. RT drive recombinant drug innovation for the treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, haemophilia, growth disorders, obesity and micro-vascular complications of diabetes and you will be expected to apply your skills throughout this area. RT automation infrastructure consists of both off-the-shelf liquid handlers, integrated systems and internally designed and developed systems.
The job
Your primary focus will be on installation, maintenance and programming of PLC driven systems build in-house or together with subcontractors as well as integration of suitable equipment on off-the-shelve liquid handlers.

Qualifications
As a successful candidate for the position you are expected to have an academy profession background with a strong interest in automation and hardware.
- Academy Profession (AP) Graduate in Automation Engineering (automationsteknolog) or AP Graduate in Automation and Operation with industrial specialisation (automation and operation) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Control Systems and Instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of basic network concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, Windows Networking, Ethernet) required. SSC-net, ASI-bus, CC-link and MODBUS networking experience is a plus.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment. Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks among many competing requests.
- Experience with supervising and coordinating support contractors is an advantage.
