About the department
In Device Manufacturing Development (DMD), we are focused on key manufacturing processes to meet stakeholders’ demand for compliance and delivery of both existing and new devices of Novo Nordisk.
In Pilot Operations Logistics, we control the whole supply chain by planning, purchasing and store our components, materials, devices and products with the main focus to ensure timely output of a wide spectra of manufacturing development tests. We are located in Hillerød, where 11 dedicated colleagues are looking forward to welcome you.
Along with your Team Leader colleagues and local management, you will be part of a leadership network that deals with implementation of strategic decisions and more short term issues like bringing new materials fast forward due to changing priorities and demands.
In your new team, the warehouse operators, purchasers, planners, supporters and -coordinators and you will be driving our effort to bring the logistics of our project organisation to the highest standards, which you will assume the overall responsibility for. You will be referring to local management, and collaborate closely with the rest of the other six development departments.

The position
You will take on a key role in the department as the leader for our team of 11 highly engaged employees with different professional backgrounds.
As Team Leader, you will work closely with your people to keep a high level of professional passion and engagement to drive performance by maintaining the team spirit.
You will create a culture ready to challenge systems, processes and ensure ongoing optimisation by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees.
You will ensure transparency, follow up on performance and set direction for your team. You will do this by being approachable and communicating clearly and effectively in close dialogue with your peers in other leadership positions.
Working in close collaboration with your own manager you will help maintain unity in the department and contribute to reaching long term strategic goals.

Qualifications
You might have a background within supply chain, logistics or something completely different. The most important thing is to have leadership capabilities and a visible passion for taking up the challenges a leader will meet: If your team isn’t cooperating you know how to solve conflicts and get back on track. You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with ambitious targets, a high work pace and many daily decisions.
