As Assistant for Mechanical Installation Services you will be responsible for the practical coordination for our 70+ Mechanical Field Engineers working at sites. At the same time, you will serve as the link between the Mechanical Field Engineers scattered around the world and the head office. As assistant you will have a large number of contacts both in DK and around the world. Your tasks include: · written and verbal communication with employees · maintenance of employee files and CV records · participation in internal project planning meetings · travel planning · practical issues when arranging courses · publishing of news on our web forum · ad hoc routine tasks that require tidiness Detailed Description The maternity cover is open from 1 May 2015 until 30 May 2016. You will report to the Department Manager, and your home base will be FLSmidth’s Customer Service in Valby. Job Requirements Versatile and service-minded personality You have a background that makes you comfortable communicating in English both verbally and in writing. Besides being an adaptable team player with a desire to serve the employees, you are a good listener, and when things do not go according to plan, you demonstrate flexibility and a sense of urgency. You like to work alone with routine administration, and you also thrive on solving unpredictable daily challenges. In addition, you are interested in learning about other cultures’ way of working, and you have a good sense of humour. Last but not least, you are well-founded on the Microsoft Office platform.
