AS400/iSeries Senior IT developer to Investment Credits & Asset Finance applications in Nordea Finance

We have an open position where we are looking for a senior AS400 consultant to join our global team. The position we offer You will work with multiple AS400 applications, mainly in the Investment credits area, supporting Nordea Finance in the Nordic region. Many of the applications are programmed in their native language, so knowledge to one or more Nordic language besides being fluent in oral and written English would be a benefit. If you also find integrations to other systems, and construction of ESBs interesting, we’d also like to hear more about that. Many of the AS400 systems you will work with are set for migration and decommissioning and we are looking for a colleague what would find this journey interesting and also willing to evolve and change the profile to be a part of the ALFA universe in the future. ALFA is a system that supports end-to-end management of leases and loans, with full multi-country support for both flow and structured business that will replace multiple legacy systems in Nordea Finance. Some travel in the Nordic region should be expected. We work in a free seating environment, with flexible work conditions. The qualifications you need The ideal candidate is a senior AS400 competence with good communication and cooperation skills. It is a requirement to have at least five years AS400 experience. You hold a bachelor degree and are fluent in oral and written English. As a person you are a team player who demonstrates drive and commitment and wants to work in cross-functional and intercultural teams. You are just great in the AS400/iSeries and fast in catching up the business logic that drives the applications. A university degree is not mandatory however significant work experience within a flavour of applications based on AS400 will make you fit into this role.
