About the position

For our Turbine Operation & Validation (TOV) Team within Corporate Technology, we are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Test Engineer.

In TOV we are handling the prototypes and test turbines of SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) which means daily operation and validation of the very first turbines of its kind.

As a Turbine Test Engineer you will be responsible for the operation of a number of prototype- and test turbines in cooperation with your team and you will work closely together with our Design Engineers and the Service Department.

What are my responsibilities?

• Performing test, trouble shooting and root cause analysis in prototype turbines and evaluating all turbine stops
• Reporting all major findings from prototype turbines, following up on findings and making sure we evolve from our learnings.
• Performing release test/final commisioning in prototype turbines
• Analyzing data
• Daily reporting to management of turbine prototypes

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have a degree in Electrical or Marine and Technical Engineering, preferably combined with practical experience and a thorough knowledge of statistics and MATLAB
• You are a an experienced troubleshooting technician with the ambition to develop even further and work in a dynamic enviroment.
• You are analytical and persistent and you have a proactive approach to your assignments
• You understand the complexity of a large organization and you are systematic and capable of combining theory with practical application
• You have strong communication skills and are able to interface with numerous parties internally as well as externally
• You possess good English skills both orally and in writing.

This position has its baseline in Brande, but travel activities to our turbines are to be expected.
