Can you create and maintain production work instructions and production inspection instructions? Do you have well-developed graphical understanding combined with strong communication skills? Then you might be our new colleague in the newly established team in NPI Blades. New Product Introduction & Documentation New Product Introduction (NPI) of Blades is a part of the NPI and TECHDOC department in TSS, Industrialization TSS. It operates with a dotted line to the head of Blades Manufacturing. The team is to secure prototypes and documentation for running production. The team will operate within the VWtM model and will control that all deliverables needed for running production are delivered on time and at quality. The team will deliver the first rotor set, the prototype and all needed production documentation inclusive the following maintenance. Responsibilities As a Technical Writer you must have a strong technical insight in how a wind turbine and its individual components work. You will be a part of the team supplying the business with relevant production documentation as well as support the running production in terms of NCR case handling and engineering change handling. Knowledge in how to convey information efficient with illustrations is highly important. Create and maintain production work instructions and production inspection instructions together with the technical specialists. Deliver illustrations for documentation. Participate in on-site and factory test and productions activities to validate technical publications. Walk the assembly line, talk to operators, and understand the manufacturing process, in order to create documentation. Support in NCR case handling and engineering change handling in manufacturing. Problem-solving. Technical project management. Rework management. Customer audits and follow-up. Routing of items Qualifications A minimum 2 years of experience in the production industry. Well-developed graphical understanding. Ability to write clearly and produce material that requires minimal editing. Good IT skills (Creo Illustrator, PDM-Link, MS Office, Adobe, PhotoShop, SAP DMS, MS Excel). 2D and 3D illustrations. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Good knowledge of NCR and ECM processes Competencies Safety is first priority. Able to communicate efficiently at all business levels. (from engineers to operators at the shop floor).
