We are busy and currently looking for a talented Technical Designer to join our team in Trige.

You will become part of our engineering team and you will join a team consisting of eight employees. In total, we are approx. 30 dedicated employees in R&D. In our team, we work with complex, fully automated machines, transportation systems, weighing, stunning and cleaning systems leading to big and complex ”back-end” solutions.

The job

As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for the user computer aided design software and other tools to create parts, assemblies, prints, instructions and others. In addition, this role will be responsible for: - Preparing detailed assembly and part drawings for new or existing products according to company standards- Assisting with design of components and assemblies
- Performing tolerance studies on parts and associated sub-assemblies
- Validating assembly drawings within PLM system
- Modelling 3D parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Resolving engineering problems that develop during the manufacture, test, or use of the product and implementing design improvements on existing products with leadership from engineering and design staff
- Sharing technical and practical knowledge gained with team members - Assisting in training and checking work of other designers

Professional qualification

You have 3-5+ years of experience in an engineering environment with a Mechanical design background. We will also emphasize the following qualifications:
- Experience with a 3D/2D design tool is required (preferably SolidWorks)
- Knowledge in MS Office, CAD, PLM Systems (preferably SAP)
- Clear understanding of manufacturing processes like laser cutting, machining, welding
- Experience within the food industry is an advantage.

Personal qualifications

- Ability to work under pressure and challenging conditions
- High degree of personal planning and able to meet deadlines - A positive team member with a good honest work ethic
- Possess strong communication skills in English, orally and in writing
