Purpose
The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is a trusted leadership role within the Domain.  The TDM is responsible for successfully leading a team of individual contributors (IC's) toward high quality engagements which result in very satisfied customers.  The TDM is an input to, and reviewer of the staffing forecast and process, teaming with the Global Resource/Capacity Management (GRM/GCM) organsiation.  Drives and is responsible for billable utilization targets;  drives team technical & professional role readiness & participates in workforce & capacity planning as appropriate for their Time-zone/Domain.  Attracts and develops top technical talent to pro-actively meet the demands of the business.  The TDM may be involved in Account planning as it relates to required resource capabilities. The TDM may be involved in customer engagements as a Project Sponsor to help advise and guide or customers on their Digital Transformation journey through the deployment of Dynamics.​

Facilitate an environment of inclusion that leverages diverse perspectives and talent, to better represent and understand our global customers. 

Change Leadership & Adoption
Communicates a vision to motivate and engage his or her team. Anticipates the changes required, and coaches his or her team to use key steps to drive the change effort, while serving as the sponsor and guide. Leads transitions, for customers and the business, through inspired followership and change-management execution. Acts as a One Services player, and identifies opportunities to unify the work of the functions. 

Be a Services Role Model
Ensures both personal and team readiness through an understanding of relevant customer/partner rhythms of business. Complete all required personal and team training &/or certifications for their technology domain. Through behaviors and actions, set an example and represent the Microsoft Values and the One Microsoft culture. 

Technology Delivery Management
Embrace and instill excellent delivery practice and understanding for yourself and team; delivering "perfect every time" at the right cost. Assist team in the development of the value proposition, IP creation and IP-reuse. Ensures responsible business operations that return the budgeted business results, while maintaining quality standards 

Optimizing Business Results
Consistently manages areas of fiscal responsibility, staying within budget, and effectively managing resources. Achieves & frequently surpasses personal & team goals from quarter to quarter.

Qualifications​

Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

8-10 in Services Management with a background in ERP
