Can you execute pricing processes while continuously improving both price planning and administrative activities over time? And can you provide leadership in setting team objectives including follow-up to ensure on-time and quality completion of the work? Then you could be our new Team Leader working with our account teams and customers within the various market segments around the globe. A paramount role in execution of price policy, guidelines and authorities at Danfoss Power Solutions As Team Leader for Pricing Europe, you are responsible for global collaboration within the regional pricing teams and sales and business units to execute the pricing process while improving both price planning and administrative activities over time. You must continuously find improvement opportunities for both the special quoted price process as well as standard list and discount pricing administration including annual updates. You also need to provide process ownership for customer and price master data including SAP price maintenance and customer pricing tools. Your responsibility also includes providing leadership when setting team objectives including follow-up and ensure on-time and quality completion of tasks. The team consists of six dedicated price planners/ price administrators, who are located both in Nordborg and in Neumünster. Furthermore, you will: •Work closely with the business unit’s strategic price analysts, sales and product line leaders to understand and improve the decision criteria for more efficient approval of special prices at the appropriate authority level •Coordinate with regional sales and business units the processing of special quoted price requests based on strategic business needs and profitable growth goals •Continue to find improvements in master data quality especially when updating the global price books and tools •Be responsive in support of price strategies for new product launches and/or new customer program opportunities •Provide the oversight and direction for any future surcharge initiatives and/or annual price updates Customer oriented mindset and solid coaching skills As a minimum, you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or Engineering. You have some years’ leadership experience or project management experience from a similar B2B industry (manufacturing environment). Knowledge of basic pricing theory and methodologies is important. You are able to claim the value of a product and features proposed to the customer based on knowledge of the competitive situation and supplier capacity. Good knowledge of key IT tools (MS Office especially Excel) is necessary and experience with SAP (Business Objects Reporting) and the Salesforce system is an advantage. You are fluent in English in both writing and speech. On a more personal note, you are a good facilitator with the ability to work in a global environment. You are energetic and willing to find compromises between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests, which requires good communication and networking capabilities.
