Do you want the freedom to prioritise your work while influencing our global application setup? Then join our IS System Applications department as our go-to person when architectural issues need to be resolved. We are 4 teams totalling 16 colleagues. Currently located in Bjerringbro, Denmark, and in Shanghai, China, we drive all of our global applications except for SAP. You become part of the application administration team. We are responsible for operating and optimising our global application setup as well as participating in implementing new applications. You refer to IS Senior Manager Peter Hvilshøj Jensen. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As a systems engineer specialist, you will join a team of specialists who work with the Java and IIS Web-platform used at Group level. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and planning maintenance activities to ensure the availability and performance of our systems. As such, your role is key in making sure that our systems are fully functional, and everything you work on has a direct impact on the customer experience as well as our bottom line. A further key task is to proactively mitigate potential risks to system availability as well as plan upgrades and capacity of the systems. Moreover, you will participate in projects such as new implementations, ensuring that systems are fully functional and able to be maintained subsequently. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have several years of experience from an international operational organization where you have delivered high quality services. Knowledge of Java-based application management is a plus, and preferably within Linux, Ansible, Jboss, Websphere and preferably also knowledge of IBM Access manager. However, if you have proven that you are a quick and adept learner, we can build on your competences here. Lastly, we are an international company, so you must be able to communicate effortlessly in English and have some degree of cultural awareness and understanding. “Your mind-set is your key to success here.
