Then join our IS System Applications department. We are 4 teams totalling 16 colleagues. Currently located in Bjerringbro and in Shanghai, China, the department is responsible for driving all of our global applications except for SAP. You become part of the application administration team with 2 colleagues in Denmark, 2 in Shanghai and 2 in Manila in the Phillipines. We have the responsibility of operating and optimising our global application setup, as well as participating in implementing new applications. As our new System Engineer Specialist, you will be minding the Java and IIS Web-platform used at a group level. You are responsible for the day-to-day operations and for planning maintenance activities ensuring the availability and performance of the systems in question. A part of your job also revolves around optimising our applications and taking part in upgrade projects. On occasion, you also work on development projects with our Software Developers. “You get to work on a wide array of tasks, which means that rather than dedicating yourself to one specific assignment, you have to maintain a broad focus. Days can be hectic so it is your challenge to prioritise your time and tasks in order to succeed,” Peter says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You may come from a variety of backgrounds. Most important is that you hold several years of experience in an operational and international organisation with high demand for quality in the services delivered. You possess sound technical knowledge as well as financial understanding. Moreover, you have experience with Linux and knowledge of Java based application management. You speak and write English fluently. Danish is a plus. “As a person, you are full of empathy and humour.
