We are rapidly growing our business in the global Defence Market and we are looking for a new colleague to join our Supply Chain.
What you will be part of
We are a project driven organization with in house hardware and software development teams developing integrated communication solutions. Our solutions are built using software and hardware products from vendors all over the world.
You will experience an informal working atmosphere with a high degree of freedom and personal responsibility. You will work with skilled colleagues in an international environment delivering projects all over the world.
Your role
As our new Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for coordinating the different areas Product Technical Administration, Procurements and Logistics as one united unit.
The role will act as team leader for the above-mentioned areas and will be organizationally placed in the Supply Chain Management team, with reference to the General Management level.
Your overall responsibilities
- ensure that relevant processes for the areas are used and maintained
- support projects and After Sales in timely deliveries and manage supplier contracts
- proactively assist projects and sales in the sales or project phase to ensure connection between projects and procurement
- develop the supplier cooperation and frame agreements to ensure timely delivery, evaluate suppliers and benchmark according to process
- manage and ensure progress according to the supply chain strategy
- continuously maintain and develop the procurement strategy
- evaluate, ensure approval and plan strategic procurement on all parts defined or assumed as quick movers
- develop the supply chain as a whole. manage the cost saving tracker towards procurement
Personal qualifications
You have the ability to work independently in the following areas: market analysis, procurement, negotiation, agreement management, business assessment, cost and risk analysis.
You also have the ability to carry out long-term development of strategic business relationships. You have a good commercial judgement and are able to acquire, apply and share knowledge.
We expect you to hold a relevant business oriented education with focus area on Supply Chain and Strategic Procurement. Furthermore, we prefer candidates with working experience in the area of Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain as well as quality and environmental systems.
As a minimum you should be fluent in spoken and written English, additionally skills in the Danish language is a plus.
As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and/or successfully demonstrate eligibility to receive applicable Government security clearance(s).
