About the department
The Patient Engagement unit drives global patient engagement and partnership initiatives in support of LEO Pharma’s commitment to patients and innovation. Our focus is to connect and support our stakeholders, challenge ‘business as usual’, drive knowledge sharing, and transform opportunities into patient-focused insights, partnerships and advocacy.
The position
This position is a unique opportunity to contribute to maintaining significant internal and external partnerships, which includes coordination of patient engagement activities across LEO Pharma as well as interaction with key stakeholders such as global patient organisations and industry networks within our innovative and future portfolio. You will be instrumental in securing timely input from stakeholders, preparing presentations and setting up meetings for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be providing project management and administrative support to the Senior Lead of Patient Research and Alliance and the team in our large portfolio of projects, events and other deliverables which often are executed in collaboration with functional teams across our therapy areas.
Your qualifications and experience
- You must be enrolled as a Master student or have reached the last part of your Bachelor with confirmed documentation that you are continuing with a Master programme in e.g. communication, administration, public relations, international business etc.
- The position is a part time position for up to 12 months in our office in Ballerup, Denmark (app. 15-20 hours per week). An address close enough to commute on your working days is therefore a must.
- Start date: Asap – preferably 1 April 2019.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about stakeholder management, communication, and event management. You are an outgoing person with a can-do-attitude, a healthy sense of humor and a strong drive and dedication to contributing to team success. You will be given a high level of responsibility planning, execution and evaluation of key projects and events. You are solutions-oriented, service-minded, and have an excellent level of English proficiently both in written and spoken form, with exceptional communication skills. Furthermore, you are proactive and dedicated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. It is an advantage if you have experience with the pharmaceutical industry and/or working with non-governmental organisations. You are a Microsoft Office super user; especially when it comes to PowerPoint and Excel.
It is a clear advantage if you are quick to gain an overview of processes, have a flair for IT, and that you have a structured and systematic mind-set.
