ECCO is looking for a Strategy Consultant to a highly challenging position in our Group Strategy & Business Insight department (GSBI). GSBI is a recently established department which has end-to-end responsibility for generating business intelligence and translating this into strategic guidance and recommendations to relevant managers across the Group. Job Profile: GSBI consists of 3 individual teams. You will be part of the Strategy & Analysis team which supports ECCOs Managing Board and Business Unit Managers on the following types of tasks: Strategic controlling of Group and business units: Identify the critical value drivers which shape ECCOs long term success and articulate the KPI’s needed to monitor these value drivers on an ongoing basis. ­ Participate in business reviews with the task of challenging the business units on strategic issues. ­ Investigate causes and possible “treatments” to specific strategic problems at Group or Business Unit level. Assist Managing Board in articulating ECCOs strategic direction and ongoing strategic agenda: Identify critical challenges facing ECCO and possible responses. ­ Articulate overall strategic direction for the Group. ­ Ongoing counseling/sparring with Managing Board about its strategic agenda. Support Group Strategy process: ­ Prepare analytical foundation for Group Strategy. ­ Prepare group Strategy Seminars and presentations. ­ Participate in articulating Group strategy plans. ­ Review and assist business units in articulating individual strategy plans Strategy/Corporate Finance specialist support: ­ Analytical and transactional support on M&A and Joint Venture projects ­ Ad-hoc consultative work on selected larger or complicated business development projects/investments ­ Financial modeling. Qualifications and Work Experience: As a Strategy Consultant you will be responsible for designing and executing complex analyses and projects in close cooperation with the remaining GSBI team and a broad network of colleagues throughout ECCOs global organization. You have 2-3 years of experience from one of the big consultancies/Corporate Finance Houses or experience from a similar position in a global company Excellent analytical capabilities and excellent presentation skills Strong business understanding and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to attract the attention of Senior Managers.
