Description 

As a Software Developer you will be responsible for the implementations of our engineering tools for design of flexible pipes. You will be a part of the engineering department at NOV Flexibles in Brøndby. 

The flexible pipe is used for versatile offshore oil and gas applications including production, gas lift, gas injection, and water injection. 

We are expanding to keep up with more demanding requirements from clients and to handle more complex analyses. We therefore have three openings for Software Developers.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute full lifecycle software development
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards
  • Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  • Any duties as required by the business 

 

Qualifications 

You will have a background in software programming and will have hands on experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, Java and Python. Along with your ability to understand system problems and solution design, your experience with different levels of integration and new functionality design will be key to your success in this role. You should be keen to take on new challenges, develop your technical and interpersonal skills as well as expand your knowledge and experience and share them.
