Job Description

Are you passionate about software development and mobile applications? Are you interested in working with innovative agile development of tomorrow’s technologies in a DEVOPS environment? Then you might be the Software Developer we are looking for in Danfoss IT. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of solutions, for example innovative customer-facing mobile applications for mobile devices.
 
You are passionate about learning and working with different technologies
You will work in an agile development environment (Scrum/Paired programming), and it will be your responsibility to co-create and collaborate in many different solutions. You will participate and contribute to all phases in building new digital products, including programming, defect correction, unit testing, code review and deployment planning. Other tasks will be:

• Production monitoring and support as needed
• Providing expertise current software development standards and cutting-edge technologies and frameworks
• Partnering closely with non-technical staff to define user requirements.
• Providing estimates for the work plan
• Assisting in producing and executing on well-documented technical designs
• Partnering closely with technical staff to establish continuous integration and deployment 

To succeed in this job, you need to understand quality code and architecture. You are able to deliver code that is clean, idiomatic, tested and thoroughly documented. You will have to solve problems proactively without being asked, always seeking better and more efficient ways to solve problems. Achieving this, you will be given the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally, and you will enjoy implementing beautiful designs and animations with an eye for performance and user experience.
 
Deep understanding of computing systems and software architecture
You hold a Master’ degree in software engineering, information technology or other relevant IT degree, and you have experience within SW development. However, it is equally important that you are a curious and motivated soul with a drive for software development, and an eagerness to learn. You have a strong understanding for testing methodologies such as functional/non-functional-, unit-, integration- and performance testing. Experience with enterprise level, high-availability application development is required, and you also have some years of experience with:

• Modern software development tool chains like Visual Studio Team Services, Github and alike
• C#/.NET, JavaScript
• SQL table design, query design, performance analysis and optimization
• Building and using Web APIs 

As a person, you can collaborate with agile, cross-functional and cross-platform teams and build relations across cultures and geography. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you have proficiency in both written and spoken English.
