The Center of Expertise (CoE) ensures that business services and related applications are appropriately designed, developed and optimized during their lifecycle and that system integrity is safeguarded. When development is handled by outsourcing partners, CoE interacts in relation to development activities and governance to maximize quality in the delivery. The Center of Expertise ensures continuous improvement and utilization of the applications in order to maximize value and reduce risk. This position is in a sub team with the primary responsibilities to successfully design, develop and implement our Microsoft applications as well as ensuring optimal utilization of Microsoft applications and SharePoint platform in the business through consulting activities. The team plays a central role in the IT service offerings and has a close relationship with external application development partners. Responsibilities: Participate in creating, maintaining and enforcing a governance structure for utilization of the SharePoint 2013 platform in cooperation with our infrastructure department, developers and application architects. Take charge of creating, maintaining and ensuring utilization of Enterprise Taxonomies to support a consistent Information Management across organizations and processes. Do this in collaboration with business stakeholders and application architects and implement using SharePoint 2013 capabilities. Take charge of continuously ensuring a high quality Enterprise Search experience in SharePoint 2013 for end users. Do this in collaboration with business stakeholders and application architects and implement using SharePoint 2013 capabilities. Participate in identifying business demands and take charge of effectively analysing and relating these to SharePoint capabilities in collaboration with the business stakeholders and application architects in order to utilize SharePoint 2013 to its fullest. Facilitate collaboration internally in IT as well as between IT and external consultants/vendor in order to maximize use of system capabilities and internal knowledge upgrade. Configure/build services according to Solution Design, compliant with Vestas IT development and architecture standards and strive for maximum utilization of SharePoint standard features. Participate in designing the enterprise architecture and correct embedding of SharePoint in the individual projects. Develop and maintain appropriate documentation. Coordinate and conduct solution testing (i.e. Projects, Requests for Changes and 3rd level incident handling). Participate in rolling out of global standards and solutions for SharePoint. Drive global knowledge sharing activities relating to SharePoint. Coach & improve functional expertise of Business Consultants, Apprentices and application supporters. Deliver top end consultancy services to the business. Keeping up to date with SharePoint technology and functionality. Qualifications: Several years of practical experience providing business consulting services in relation to SharePoint 2010/2013 First-hand experience with designing Taxonomies and implementing these in SharePoint 2010/2013 Good experience with monitoring end user search experiences and adapting SharePoint Search or FAST Search to optimize these. Good experience with Sharepoint 2013 functionalities. Experience with SharePoint Designer and Workflows. Knowledge about GetOrganized solutions from NetCompany is an advantage. Strong ability to transform business requirements into IT solutions. Understanding of project work methodology related to IT projects in larger organisations. Education: Master degree in Business / IT or similar experience. Competencies: Proactive & self-driven with strong personal impact towards stakeholders. Extrovert with strong communication skills.
