Would you like to help us establish a centralised supply chain setup for spares and tools for the world’s largest operator of offshore wind farms? Join us and become Senior Supply Chain Specialist in the Operations Supply Chain department where you will be responsible for managing the supply of spares and tools to our wind farms while continuing to develop the department to accommodate it to the rapid growth of our portfolio. Operations Supply Chain is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to ensure that our new supply chain strategy is implemented in cooperation with our different offshore wind farms handle the continuous development and improvement of projects on the basis of the supply chain and supply chain management competences in the organisation enable long-term cost reductions and ensure proper ramp up and execution of supply chain management deliveries hold regular project status meetings and organise acceptance of milestone work results document all work results according to the valid standards identify and assess risk factors utilising available risk measurement tools. You are empowered through E2E agreement with stakeholders to manage the project as entrepreneur and bring about strategic decisions as well as asserting them. You are able to actively build relationships with internal customer representatives as well as negotiate with stakeholders on change requests and incorporate these into the agreed plans. Moreover, you can prepare decision proposals for senior management and proactive gather, analyse and consolidate all required information from stakeholders. Your qualifications and core competences include that you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within supply chain management have several years of professional experience in the wind power industry or a comparable line of business have several years of experience in a leading position within supply chain, operations, logistics or project management thrive in a dynamic and international environment and have a good understanding of the advanced corporate business practices possess strong negotiation and networking skills and are an impactful communicator speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate effortlessly with your international stakeholders Moreover, you are open-minded and results-oriented and prepared to learn about other functional areas. Additionally, you have personal drive and are able to motivate and develop team members, ensuring that we meet the ambitious results and targets defined in our strategy.
