The job: GN ReSound is looking for a Senior QA Developer to join the System Verification Team in R&D. It is the team’s objective to: • Plan, specify and conduct verification for integrated deliverables from SW and HW ensuring correct implementation of devices and Mobile Apps • Ensure correct interoperability of GN ReSound product portfolio by verifying user scenarios for Hearing Instruments, Wireless Accessories and Mobile Apps The key tasks of the Senior QA Developer are: • Review and analyze product requirements from verification perspective • Specify System Verification based on product design and performance requirements, in collaboration with development teams • Planning and execution of tests based on the product implementation plan and maturity level • Reporting within development projects, analyze and follow-up on test reports • Proactively improve test methods, best practices and processes within System Verification activities • Maintain a broad understanding of stakeholder needs across the organization To succeed in this job you must: • Be able to verify hearing aid systems and mobile apps from end user perspective • Be able to turn high-level user scenarios to detailed test procedures and scripts • Be able to systematically verify the product features and functionalities in a complex matrix of products, configurations and user scenarios • Be able to align system verification activities with other test activities in R&D and external test houses. The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate for the job has an education as Bachelor or Master of Science in an engineering-related field, e.g. electronics or SW. In depth understanding and proven record of product testing, applying test methods and specifying testing on system level is essential – preferably supported by ISTQB / ISEB Foundation Certification or similar. Technical knowledge of wireless technologies and HW/SW integration and interaction is considered an advantage. Your first language is not important, but excellent verbal and written skills in English are absolutely required. Experience within mobile App testing and test automation and/or working with outsourcing partners are considered as value adding competencies to the position.
