Do you have experience in building an organisation that embraces continuous change and transformation? Can you support BESTSELLER IT in implementing an agile strategy where everyone is on board?  
 
If you can say YES to the above, and you are an experienced HR Business Partner with the ability to drive and ensure the strategic development of an IT organisation and the people agenda, then you might be the new colleague we are looking for.  
 
BESTSELLER IT is currently transforming into an agile organisation, and we need a skilled and strong PEOPLE Business Partner who can support the changes from a PEOPLE perspective and drive the influence it will have on the culture, management roles, work behaviour, performance and cooperation in the organisation.  

The department  
As a Senior PEOPLE Business Partner for IT, you will report directly to the CIO and work closely with the IT Leadership Team. BESTSELLER IT is located primarily in Denmark with hubs in Malaga and Hamburg. In total, the IT department counts around 300 colleagues.  
 
You will have a dotted line to the PEOPLE Director, become a part of an international PEOPLE Business Partner team, and you will be supported by our central PEOPLE department in the development of tools and processes.   

The job  
Continuous change is essential to delivering the right digital solutions, and, as a Senior PEOPLE Business Partner, you must contribute to creating a system that ensures that the needed changes and transformation is embraced by everyone in the organisation. To succeed, you bring a comprehensive toolbox and substantial know-how when it comes to impacting all levels of the organisation.  
 
In addition, your responsibility will cover general PEOPLE processes to ensure a strong workforce and excellent leadership. Yearly people and team reviews, recruitment, performance management, onboarding, talent management and strategic sparring with the leaders in IT will be your daily operations in the role. 
 
Based on your solid HR experience, you identify current and future organisational needs, design strategic PEOPLE initiatives and increase PEOPLE visibility. In collaboration with the PEOPLE department, you ensure that new initiatives are aligned with both the global PEOPLE strategy and the local IT strategy.  
 
Alongside your responsibility for IT, you will be expected to contribute to the development of BESTSELLER PEOPLE, so you participate actively in cross-disciplinary development projects and knowledge sharing between partners and specialists.   

Your tasks will also include:  

• Strategic PEOPLE sparring regarding organisational development, high performance team development, talent development and succession planning  
• Support on legal matters regarding dismissals, warnings and employment
• Leadership sparring in relation to our Leadership Programme and current team and leadership challenges  
• Professional sounding board in relation to forming the right compensation and benefits strategy in IT.  

Qualifications 

• Relevant Master’s degree (e.g. MSc in Economics, HRM or similar)  
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Responsible/Business Partner – preferably from an international tech company 
• Experience in driving the HR agenda in a matrix organisation
• Experience from an agile organisation and with agile transformation is considered an advantage, but not a requirement 
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You are analytical and structured in your way of working and have an excellent ability to prioritize, enabling you to make a difference to the organisation at a strategic level while also performing on the operational level.  
 
You are a strong communicator with a positive energy, and you thrive in a position where you collaborate with colleagues across cultures and organisational levels.   
You earn respect for your competences, your professionalism and your understanding of the business needs, making you a trusted sounding board for the IT Leadership Team when it comes to people, team and organisational development.   
 
You are self-motivated and can work independently, but always ensure a fruitful cooperation and knowledge sharing with the colleagues around you. You have a professional, strategic and humble approach and always strive for business oriented and cost-saving solutions.
