- Sourcing - Denmark - Bagsværd We are looking for a new Senior Manager to head up Business Support in Strategic Sourcing (StSo) in Bagsværd. This is your chance to take on a key strategic role, where you can make a significant impact on the future development and operations of the organisation. About the department Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, and we are responsible for the strategic sourcing activities related to Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production sites as well as global management of suppliers. In StSo Business Support, you will head a team of 9 dedicated and specialised employees who are responsible for business processes and strategy, finance, quality and risk management. The job As Senior Manager, you will become a full member of a dynamic and successful management team in StSo and report directly to the Corporate Vice President of the unit. Your main objective is to set strategic direction in a proactive support function and to secure efficient and high quality operations in Business Support. You will be responsible for the strategy process for StSo and accountable for the continuous development of the department within the areas of finance, quality, project management, strategic analysis, CSR, and risk management. In particular, you are responsible for establishing and implementing business plans for StSo and coordinate the twice yearly business reviews, including budget and strategies. You also manage finance activities for StSo, including budgeting and cost controlling in close cooperation with the relevant stakeholders. Additionally, your team is responsible for ensuring solid support to the three other departments as well as the CVP in StSo with the aim of creating a world class sourcing unit. As such, you ensure continuous optimization of the area, both on the financial and strategic level. Qualifications You hold a proven performance track-record at managing complex business processes as well as engaging with high-level stakeholders. Your experience is backed by a relevant Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or similar. In your career you have proven your ability to cooperate across various managerial levels and professional teams. You are experienced within establishing a sound network in organisations. You are a strong communicator with a strategic mindset and excellent analytical skills, and you work systematically and always focus on securing the highest possible level of quality. Furthermore, you are a dedicated people manager who knows how to efficiently balance reaching ambitious targets with establishing an engaging work environment where everybody utilises their full potential. You are a strong communicator with excellent analytical skills and are skilled at presenting recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
