You standardise our mould optimisation processes Besides securing the daily operation of the Mould Optimisation department you will have a keen eye for delivering world-class quality and service to our production sites all over the world. Mould Optimisation is part of Mould Qualification which is the final step in the Elements & Moulds value chain. Our primary and overall objective is to ensure that each and every mould passing through the value chain has been qualified before we hand it over to our internal customers, the production sites. Your job will include to: - Lead and set the direction for 16 mould optimisation experts - Develop the mould optimisation competences and thereby prepare for the future - Assemble a team with the best mould optimisation competences imaginable - Define crystal-clear standards for the mould optimisation processes - Ensure that all processes are adhered to and lived by - Make accurate plans for the work load in order to adapt both manpower and machinery - Secure excellent stakeholder management and a positive dialogue with our internal customers - Ensure a safe and healthy working environment in every respect In addition to the above, you will have major responsibility for implementing the LEGO Strategy and Continuous Improvement agenda in your department. Develop deep expertise and a thorough understanding of our international business There are many ways into this wide-ranging job. Either you have a background e.g. as a tool maker within the moulding or metal industry and have added some years' managerial experience. Or you have a degree within one of the engineering or natural science disciplines and are well up in the methods and processes of a managerial role in a technical organisation. Either way, you are able to understand our value chain and business and have a passion for optimisation of work processes in a global agenda.
