Would you like to take part in creating the future technologies that enhance LEGO® play experiences for children all over the world? Work with international colleagues in cross-functional teams through the entire development life cycle and see ideas grow into amazing products.

Challenge your skillset within electronics

You will be responsible for helping to increase the LEGO play value through the use of innovative technologies.

By participating in and taking the lead on hardware tasks in cross-functional development teams, you will work on technology platform development on multiple layers, transforming technologies into play experiences. The technology may be for simple lighting and sound units via modular electronic building platforms to advanced robotic platforms and LEGO Education products.

You will be part of the full value chain from early concept exploration to the release of a product to production. This takes you across all aspects in electronic concept and technology validation, development, implementing elements in production and product maintenance all according to LEGO requirements as you:

• Proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the full value chain

• Participate in early concept and technology innovation

• Partake in the development of technology prototypes and play experience in close collaboration with novelty teams

• Support running production at external partners

Joining Electronics, you will meet 11 skilled colleagues who strive towards being the electronic competence centre as well as an inspiring and value-adding business partner in the LEGO Group. We are responsible for the development of all electronic product technologies as well as specifying and verifying test equipment for mass production and supporting production throughout the full product lifetime.

You will join an international environment and cross-functional project teams where we help and challenge each other on anything from mechanics over design and electronics to embedded software. And we make it all come together perfectly in experiences that will inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.

• You have a background within science or electronics engineering combined with 3+ years of experience with all phases of hardware development for technology components

• You possess strong electronic component knowledge (Discrete & Digital)

• It is a plus if you have existing knowledge and experience in cross-functional product development, from early concept exploration to product introduction and maintenance

• You are able to develop relevant briefs as well as create technical specification and documentation to relevant stakeholders

• You are fluent in English
