Would you like to use your strong forecasting skills to set up a world-class demand and capacity planning process from scratch? Balance consumer demands with internal capacity As Senior Demand and Capacity Manager, you join the Planning Team, which links the customers in Global Production Planning and Product Marketing Development with the complex mould production process. Here, your mission is to analyse the future demands from our consumers and balance this with our internal capacity. Your role will be to set the direction for and build a set-up from scratch to take our demand and capacity planning process to the next level. As such, you make sure that the Leadership Team is well-equipped to make well-informed decisions. In particular, you will: Make sure that we have the right resources in place to match demands with the Element & Moulds (E&M) capacity Give the E&M Leadership Team an insight into current and future operational challenges, provide objective analyses and recommend concrete actions Drive the Demand and Capacity cycles in Elements & Moulds Make sure that Elements & Moulds has as stable a production as possible (KPI on fluctuations in outputs) Create a simulation tool and facilitate biweekly meetings and suggest proposals that help the Leadership Team make the right decisions regarding capacity management Join us and reach ambitious goals When joining the LEGO Group, you are trusted to make decisions, do what is best for the LEGO Group and get things done at the highest possible quality. Skilled analyst with demand or forecasting experience This is a specialist role, so it is key that you thrive delving deep into the numbers, concluding on your findings and presenting your recommendations to stakeholders. To facilitate this, you: Are probably educated within SCM, Economics or Logistics at Master's degree level, and if you have experience with statistics this is a plus Have a background as demand planner, forecast manager or supply chain manager giving you strong analytical skills and the ability to foresee future demands Have strong analytical skills, know what is meaningful data and what it not, and ideally have experience from the LEGO Group Must be able to communicate clearly and in a value-adding fashion as the Leadership Team is your primary stakeholder group Are able to take on a change management role towards the Leadership Team as well as towards a broad LEGO Network Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Community.
