Senior Assistant supporting the head of function responsible for offshore wind turbines

Are you structured, service-minded and do you have focus on your deliverables?

Join us and become Senior Assistant in our Wind Turbines Engineering functional area where you’ll support the Head of Wind Turbines with administrative and project-related tasks. The functional area is responsible for delivering engineering and project management competences for our offshore wind projects within the wind turbines area in our company.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• support the Head of Wind Turbines in his daily work by coordinating and planning meetings, preparing agendas, presentations and minutes of meetings, participating in management activities and following up on issues as required
• assist the Head of Wind Turbines with time registration and with preparing travel schedules and travel expense reports
• support the Wind Turbines organisation and the Wind Turbines management team with varying ad hoc tasks such as on-boarding of new employees, follow-up on time registration and ordering of goods and services
• plan and organise seminars, conferences and venues
• ensure a well-functioning office space
• administrate our internal webpage and ensure development and updating of information and documents
• mentor and ensure the development of the office trainee in the department.

Furthermore, you’ll prepare travel schedules, travel expense reports and keep track of the resource overview.

Moreover, you’ll manage and execute internal projects within process optimisation and be responsible for ensuring that the administrative processes and procedures within Wind Turbines comply with corporate standards. You’ll also coordinate contact to support functions within the business unit and cooperate with other cross-functional departments.

 

Your competences include that you 

• have a relevant higher educational background combined with experience from working as a senior assistant or a secretary in an international organisation
• have an extrovert personality and the ability to establish good relationships with your colleagues and other business partners
• are persistent in your everyday work to get tasks and projects done and ensure that deadlines are kept
• have organisational talent combined with a structured approach to your work
• value high-quality task performance and are able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely and effective manner.

It’s essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as we prepare most of our documentation in English and communicate extensively in English. It’s an advantage if you speak and write Danish, too.

It’s also important that you thrive in a job where you provide administrative support to your colleagues on a daily basis.

Additionally, you’re an experienced user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and preferably have knowledge of SAP Administration.
