Ensure high AM quality

In the Additive Design & Manufacturing team, you will work with other AM experts, designers and technicians, on the development of AM technologies. More specifically, you will become the expert on our polymer processes as you oversee the AM technologies we work with and determine the best processing parameters. Doing so, you will constantly be tweaking and adjusting our processes in order to achieve and ensure the highest level of quality and productivity. On a daily basis, you will:

- Design and carry out experiments and tests
- Interact and work with stakeholders
- Train colleagues throughout the organization in the use of AM
- Analyse results of experiments and understand the consequences

At the LEGO Group we are working at the forefront of the AM technology. Therefore, another very important task will be the implementation of the new machines and technologies that we are currently bringing into the LEGO Group. Here, you will be working closely with the manufacturers on the development of these new tools, thus playing a vital role in ensuring the overall performance of the machines.

Analytical mechanical engineer with AM experience

You are analytical, scientific and result-oriented, giving you the ability to gain a deep understanding of the machines and the AM processes. With your team player mentality, knowledge sharing is key, and you know how to convey a clear message to those around you. Likewise, you are innovative and imaginative as you will need to think out of the box to develop new processes and approaches to technology. Lastly, we expect you to:

- Hold a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar

- Have 3-5 years of experience with polymer additive manufacturing, and experience with selective laser sintering is an advantage

- Have experience looking at process data and drawing conclusions

- Speak and write English at a high level
