DTU Fotonik, Department of Photonics Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark is seeking a candidate for a Research Scientist in the field of plasmonics. We offer an interesting and challenging job in an international environment and the successful candidate will be affiliated with the Structured Electromagnetic Materials research group and the Center of Excellence for Nanostructured Graphene (CNG). Responsibilities and tasks The Research Scientist position will be with an emphasis on experimental studies of plasmons in metal and graphene nanostructures. Qualifications Candidates should have a PhD degree or equivalent. The successful candidate has a PhD in experimental physics with expertise in the field of nanofabrication and with solid experience in experimental studies of plasmons in noble metals and low-dimensional materials with techniques including near-field optical spectroscopy and electron-energy loss spectroscopy.
