Then you could be our next Regional Category Manager for Pressed Parts at Danfoss Procurement covering the European region. You will become part of a global team of six highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and sparring with each other about processes and mechanisms, each being responsible for different areas and BUs. The position can be based at one of our Danfoss sites in Denmark, Germany or Poland. Develop supplier relationships and implement category strategies You will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of products at the right price, creating strong relationships with our suppliers, and ensuring the best possible quality and cost optimisation of a given product. In addition, you will work closely together with the Danfoss segments and the rest of the procurement organisation. To succeed in this job, you will need to thrive on juggling priorities and navigating in the field of multiple suppliers and stakeholders. Your key tasks will be to: •Develop and implement category strategies and secure alignment with segments •Deliver savings and process efficiencies through the execution of projects and negotiations with suppliers •Negotiate contracts such as supplier quality manual, FWA etc. •Participate in the optimisation of logistics parameters such as OTD, lead time etc. •Work with suppliers in getting compliance to TS16494 •Secure and improve the foundation for sales Growth You will report directly to the Head of Category, Pressed Parts, and you will be offered a unique opportunity to apply and develop your procurement knowledge in a highly dynamic and fast-paced organisation. As our suppliers are situated throughout Europe, the position entails approx. 15-20 travel days per year. Strong negotiator with solid networking skills and procurement experience You are a proactive self-starter with high drive, ambition, and a positive can-do attitude. You have a commercial education combined with solid experience in managing stakeholders, supplier relationships, and project managers, all backed by solid direct procurement and/or category management experience in an international organisation. It is essential that you are result-oriented and have strong negotiation skills. You have an analytical approach to your tasks and are able to work both independently and in cross-functional teams. You are also good at prioritising and leading change. You master English at negotiation level, have diplomatic skills, and are able to communicate on all levels.
